AI × Design、Digital Fabrication

Bridging AI, computational design, and digital fabrication, guided 30 participants from initial digital concepts to tangible prototypes. Over the course of a 3 hour session, participants explored how material constraints and manufacturing methods shaped design decisions, learnt the complete digital-to-physical workflow, rapidly iterated on creative ideas, and engaged in practical fabrication to produce a small physical artifacts.

The talk also explores the use of AI for object identification and robotic path planning, examining how visual and spatial information can be interpreted to inform robotic movement and create a more connected workflow between AI, computational design, and robotic fabrication.
